You are about to embark on one of the most beautiful natural wonders in the world.  The breathtaking redwoods of Northern California are truly unique.  Walking through the forest takes you back in time.

Getting away from the hustle and bustle of the city and enjoying the peace and tranquility of the redwoods can set a great mood for a relaxing family vacation.

The Madrona Motor Court is a convenient starting point for your vacation while touring the Avenue.  This is a quaint family motel, built in the heyday of motor touring. You will know you have reached the Madrona when you spot the white angel waiting to greet you.  This small motel provides cozy rooms with old growth paneling and balconies, set among the redwoods while overlooking the Eel River valley.  It's an easy walk to a state park redwood grove, groceries, a restaurant, and of course the south fork of the Eel River.
